Special Admission Considerations for JAMB UTME Candidates

  • UNN accepts Physics with Chemistry (as a single subject) for Physics and Chemistry. UNN requires that you passs in one sitting.
  • UNILORIN requires five O Level credit (at only one sitting) and a minimum score of 240 in JAMB examination. .
  • BENIN, IBADAN, IMSU, ABSU, EBSU, UNIOSUN, ANSU, DELSU and BOWEN require the O Level Credits at one sitting.

    • UTME SUBJECTS: UDU and MAIDUGURI accept Mathematics instead of Physics.

  • BINGHAM, NDU, and PHC – No Direct Entry
  • OOU and CALABAR accept Degree in Science, not below Second Class Lower Division.
  • CALABAR allows Degree (not belowsecond Class Lower Division) in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory, Biology, Zoology or Chemistry.
  • ABSU, AAU, and OOU accept Degree in related fields. Accept IJMB for Direct Entry.
  • BSU, ILORI, IMSU and LASU accept a good Honours degree (second class upper) in the relevant discipline.
  • JOS requires D/E candidates to fulfill UTME Entry requirements.
  • BENIN accepts:
