The Union's Secretary-General Seth Panyako directed all nurses to, in turn, report back to their respective working stations with immediate effect.
Speaking on Wednesday, February 23, Panyako said they have agreed on a working formula with some counties with only 10 of the devolved units remainings.
“The strike which commenced on December 7, 2020, is hereby called off, all members to report to work immediately not later than tomorrow,” said Panyako![](https://cdn.statically.io/img/cdn.tuko.co.ke/images/560x315/da599f5ff74ada4c.jpeg)

He added that the union will still continue pursuing their demands even as they report back to work.
On Monday as stated above, Justice Maureen Onyango directed all health care workers to report back to work.
She further directed that all disciplinary actions against them for participating in an industrial action be stopped and all who resumed work be paid their salaries.
Threatened with sack
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe had earlier appealed to all health practitioners who went into industrial action to rethink their decision or else the government will have nothing but to dismiss them from work.
Kagwe said it was important for the health workers to respect a court order and give dialogue a chance before taking any further action.
