The Constitution of Kenya amendment process is not yet over despite the five-judge High Court bench declaring it null and void in a landmark judgement on Thursday, May 13.

The suspected Niger Delta militants have attacked oil delivery line belonging to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company crossing Afiesere-Iwhrenene communities in Delta state.
The Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, one of the groups operating in the area, took responsibility for the incident, which happened at about 1am on September 13, Tuesday.
Some lawyers of the arrested leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu were on Wednesday prevented from gaining access to the courtroom. This is as the Department of State Services (DSS) insisted at the resumed hearing of the Biafra agitator that only two lawyers can be allowed into the courtroom.
According to the secret police, their action is based on the directive of the trial judge, Justice Binta Nyanko who ordered that only two lawyers be granted access to the venue as Nnamdi Kanu’s trial continues.
