Some lawyers of the arrested leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu were on Wednesday prevented from gaining access to the courtroom. This is as the Department of State Services (DSS) insisted at the resumed hearing of the Biafra agitator that only two lawyers can be allowed into the courtroom. According to the secret police, their action is based on the directive of the trial judge, Justice Binta Nyanko who ordered that only two lawyers be granted access to the venue as Nnamdi Kanu’s trial continues.
