A totally different report has emerged from the incident that led to the killing of rice farmers in Borno State last weekend by Boko Haram terrorists. According to a source in the community, most of the victims were informants and logistics suppliers to the insurgents. Recall that about forty-eight people were killed by Boko Haram on Saturday morning in Zarbamari. Following the incident, the state Governor, Babagana Zulum, had on Thursday, disbursed the sum of N600,000 to family members of the slain farmers.
